
PSA 8.2 — Jacketed Piping: Core + Jacket, Spiders, and the Thermal Cases Nobody Runs
A 4″ molten-sulphur line runs 9 m between end closures inside a 6″ steam jacket. The process runs at 140 °C; the jacket carries 10 barg saturated steam at about 180 °C. Both pipes are A106-B. Nobody thinks of it as a stress problem: a 4″ line, 9 m long, straight, on a rack.
