One Job, Every Desk — Tank to Pump
An atmospheric, vented, fixed-roof storage tank — 20 m diameter × 14 m high — holds hot condensate at 95 °C. A 12″ STD suction line leaves shell nozzle N1, falls to a bank of concrete sleepers, passes an isolation valve and a basket strainer, reduces 12 × 8 flat-on-top, and enters an end-suction centrifugal pump. The pump lifts 250 m³/h to 45 m and discharges 6″ × 8″ to battery limit.
That is a small job. It is also a job that eleven desks have to agree about, and the agreements are where it goes wrong.
